About This Tour

Welcome to a different kind of Syria tour. This is not about museums, guided historical lectures, or crowded archaeological sites. This is about freedom, nature, and good times with your group. Over six days, you will experience the best of Syria's coastal and mountain landscapes. The journey begins in Old Damascus, where you will stay inside the ancient city walls and wander through lively souks, Roman-era streets, and vibrant neighborhoods – without any formal tours, just your own pace. From there, you head into the mountains. In Maaloula, you will visit two stunning monasteries carved into rocky cliffs – Mar Sarkis and Mar Takla. These are not just religious sites; they are dramatic natural perches with caves, narrow paths, and breathtaking views. Then comes one of the most impressive castles in the world: Krak des Chevaliers (Qal'at Al-Hosn) . Walk along its massive Crusader-era walls, explore its vaulted halls, and enjoy a panoramic view that stretches across the valley. You will spend the night in the Valley of the Christians (Wadi Al-Nasara) , staying in a rustic cabin or nature lodge surrounded by green hills and fresh air. Then, it is time for the sea. You will head to Tartous, where you will have a full free day on a clean, sandy beach – swim, sunbathe, or just hang out at a beachfront cafe. The next day, you will enjoy another morning on the beach before heading to Al-Morrah Village, a hidden gem in rural Baniyas where green mountains meet the sea. There, you will have a dinner with a light party – open-air, with music and a relaxed youth atmosphere. After your final beach morning, you will return to Damascus for one last night, with an optional quick stop at Mount Qasioun for a panoramic view of the city before your departure. Throughout the trip, you will have a private van for up to 15 people, giving you full flexibility. All meals are on your own expense, so you can eat where and what you like – from street falafel to seaside fish restaurants. Accommodation is a mix of 4-star hotels (in Damascus and Tartous) and rustic cabins or nature lodges (in the Valley of the Christians). This tour is perfect for groups of friends, young couples, or solo travelers who want to see a different side of Syria – the green, the blue, and the unforgettable.
